Hey Now...

Can anyone recommend an excellent Loose Lucy from any show of any era, especially one in which Jerry remembers (and preferably sings well) ALL the lyrics? I'm having a hard time searching one out that meets all those criteria...Thanks!
GC

11-11-1973 is a great pre-retirement version. In later years, go with 12-12-1990, far and away the best version post 1974...

Kind of partial to the 3/14/90 version (first one since '74). The crowd goes nuts (I know, I was there) when they whip it out. Lots of energy, lots of fun.

2/9/73. An absolute killer.

I for one like the faster '74 versions over any other. I just listened to 11/11/73 and couldn't get thru it - painfully slow. Too bad cuz thats a great show. 5/19/74 cooks and is my favorite early version.

Thanks, merlin....

Agree w/you re: the slowness of 11-11-73...

My own fault, though, for listing as criteria a version in which Jerry remembers and sings well ALL the lyrics, which the 11-11 version certainly fulfills...My theory on why that song went unplayed for so long is that Jerry really got frustrated w/trying to get all the verses right and just stopped trying (when they picked it up again in the 90's the problem continued)...but thanx for this suggestion--can't wait to give it a listen!
